History, editing and export
Every dictation is saved to a file on your Mac. It is searchable, editable, exportable and deletable, and we hold no copy of any of it.
History is stored in history.jsonl inside Blurt's folder. Because it never leaves your machine, we cannot recover it if you delete it. Delete entries from the History tab rather than by hand — a history.json sitting next to it is a leftover from older builds, not your current history.

Editing
The pencil icon edits a saved transcript in place. Corrections feed back into recognition, so a name you fix once is more likely to be right next time.
Export and delete
Export writes the transcripts to a file you choose. Deleting history removes it permanently and immediately.
