Install Blurt and grant Accessibility
Blurt types into other apps, which macOS treats as an Accessibility feature. You grant the permission once. This page covers the install, the permission, and what to do if the toggle refuses to stick.
1. Move the app to Applications
Open the downloaded disk image and drag Blurt to Applications. Launch it from there, not from the mounted image, or the permission will be granted to a path that disappears.
2. Grant Accessibility
On first launch Blurt opens System Settings for you. Turn on Blurt under Privacy & Security, Accessibility. Also allow Microphone access when prompted.

3. Test the shortcut
Open TextEdit, hold Fn and say a sentence. Release. The text appears at the cursor.
The Accessibility toggle turns itself off
This happens when the app bundle changes path or is replaced by an update mid-session. Remove Blurt from the list with the minus button, quit the app, relaunch, and grant it again.
The app will not open after installing
If macOS reports that Blurt is damaged or cannot be opened, the quarantine attribute survived the copy. Remove it, then launch again.
